Our Committees
Our squash association is very happy with its active members, as they ensure that the association remains lively and dynamic. As a member, you will have a lot to do with some of these committees. Examples include the Activities Committee, Tournament Committee, and Technical Committee. Other committees work more in the background, such as the Advisory Committee and the Website Committee. Are you interested in joining a committee? Feel free to talk to one of the committee members or a board member.
Activities Committee
Squash is important in life, but life is not only about squash. The Activities Committee (Accie) makes this very clear. These enthusiastic members are eager to provide you with the best activities year after year. Make sure to check the WhatsApp group every month to stay up to date on what they are up to, and be sure to join in. Do you have questions for the Accie or would you like to be part of this outspoken team? Feel free to approach the activities committee on court or during an activity.
Technical Committee
The Technical Committee is ready to help you with all squash-related technical activities. These sporty enthusiasts organize the Monday training sessions and also assist with the competition. In addition, they organize the One Night Tournaments and other squash game formats. Would you like to strengthen the Technical Committee, or do you have a great idea for a tournament, training session, or another squash-related activity? Then send an email to tc@deboosters.nl.
Tournament Committee
Every year, the association organizes several tournaments, such as the Open Boosters Tournament and the One Night Tournaments. This committee takes care of organizing these tournaments and ensures that everything runs smoothly on the day itself. Can you see yourself contributing here? Website Committee (the best committee)
To remain accessible and keep our association online, the Website Committee (Webcie) is constantly working on keeping the website up to date. You will not notice much of the Webcie in daily squash life, but they are always open to feedback and fun ideas to make the website even more appealing. So feel free to approach them on court or during activities, or send an email to website@deboosters.nl. Do you have experience maintaining a WordPress website, or the affinity and eagerness to learn? We are always looking for continuity in maintaining the website.
